Rare fossil Cicada, with other, smaller insects, in a large, polished chunk of Cretaceous amber from Myanmar (“Burmese Amber”, “Burmite”).
Albian to Cenomanian, ~100 million years ago.
Great classic coloration, typical for those deposits. Comes with a printed picture of the close up of the cicada.
